  • Extensive site analysis identified:
    − A huge amount of duplicated content throughout the site
    – various techniques were used to find the problem sections/pages
    − ‘Shallow’ content
    − Link issues – our 'Specialist Penalty Removal Team' performed a full review of external links, contacted website owners and reported issues to Google to disavow
    − A lot of keyword based links – onsite and offsite – were thought to be good links but considered by Google to be bad
    − Issues with site structure
    − Technical problems with html, images, hosting
  • New link building commenced based around good quality content written by our in-house content writers and uploaded onto external websites/blogs
  • On-site duplicated content was rewritten
  • The website structure was changed
  • Technical changes were made


  • In approximately 6 months JTS were back onto page 1 for their main keywords in time for the important booking season starting in January ‘14
